FAQ
What is the theme of this zine?
This is a non-massacre Uchiha family zine, centered around their relationships with each other, set in the Narutoverse.
Are AUs allowed?
All of the art and fics must be set in the Narutoverse, so that means canon-divergence and non-massacre AU are allowed! You can narrowly diverge from the canon material as long as it stays loyal to the Narutoverse setting. You can definitely let Sarada meet Itachi, or make Izuna and Madara go on a mission together! What we do not allow are AUs set in different worlds such as fantasy and modern AUs.
Are ships allowed?
Yes, of course! However, we would like to reiterate that this is a family zine, focusing on the Uchiha family members and their relationship with each other, in a non-massacre setting. The pieces in the zine must focus on this theme. Canon ships are most definitely allowed (e.g. Fugaku & Mikoto, Sasuke & Sakura). Other ships are also allowed as long as they won’t interfere with the canon material and won’t be the main focus of the piece.
Is this zine for profit or for charity?
This zine is for charity. We will be donating proceeds to Direct Relief.
How will contributors be compensated?
Each contributor will be guaranteed a PDF, and a complimentary physical copy of the zine (or bundle, with shipping) if sales allow!
Are NSFW pieces allowed?
No. This is a SFW zine.
I am a minor, can I participate?
Yes! This zine is SFW. Please just make sure to inform a parent or guardian that we may ask for your address and personal information in order to ship your complimentary bundle.
Is this a physical or digital zine?
Both! This zine will have both PDF, and a physical book, as well as merch.
Can contributors apply to more than one position?
Yes! Contributors are more than welcome to apply for more than one position, however, we will only be accepting the applicant for one position. You may read more on our application #guidelines
How many contributors are you looking for?
We are roughly looking for 20-25 page artists, 5 merch artists, 2-3 comic artists, and 5-7 writers. You may read more on our application guidelines [here].
What is the size of the zine?
This is an A5-sized zine.
Kairi | 26 | Head & Org Mod
Kairi is a project manager who requires a cup of coffee to worky. In her free time, she likes to write and moderate zines. Her latest obsession is baking and selling her cookies. Some of the projects that she has modded are: Quirk no Jutsu zine, BNHA Bloom Zine, Lakbay: SasuSaku Travel Zine, and Crimson Ties: A Kacchako Zine.
Nic | 31 | Social Media Mod
Nic is a business woman by day and a connoisseur of all things kpop and kdrama by night. When she's not busy updating her fanfics, you can often find her sobbing over beautiful idols or anime boys.
She recently ventured into the zine world and has modded: Reminiscence: The Promised Neverland Scrapbook Zine & Crimson Ties: A Kacchako Zine.
Maren | 23 | General Mod
Maren is a recruiter by day, a writer by night, and a fangirl forever. She spends most of her time daydreaming about finishing her WIPs and losing her mind in the process. She will make it through, though. After participating in being a mod during her first zine project, Lakbay: SasuSaku Travel Zine, she's ready to take one more.
Ilka | 21 | General Mod
Ilka is a self-taught artist fueled by shonen anime, jrpgs and spontaneous adventures. She has previously participated as a mod intern for Lakbay: SasuSaku Travel Zine.
Geli | 23 | Graphics & Layout Mod
Geli is part Tired Creative™ part Fangirl. She says screaming about the things she loves is what keeps her going. This is her second time modding for a zine after Lakbay: SasuSaku Travel Zine.
Ysa | 25 | Graphics & Layout Mod
Ysa is an artist by heart and graphic designer by trade. Avid manga/webtoon reader and her favorite things in the world are arepas and her puppy. This would be her second time modding a zine after Trends: SasuSaku Fashion Zine.
Daily | 18+ | Shipping Mod
Daily loves the Uchihas and is super excited to see them all alive, happy, and well together as one big family!
Yo | 30 | Finance & Production Mod
Mod Yo loves modding and is super happy to be joining this project. She has modded over 25+ zines with 20 fully completed. Some of her finance and production include “Domain Expansion: A JJK Zine”, “Best Friend Squad Wedding: A She Ra Zine”, “Eclipse, A Zutura Zine” and “Thank You Furuba: A Fruits Basket Zine” and many more!
